The Dog Nanny is looking for a few human members to add to our pack! We are a cage free doggy daycare and boarding facility located in Andover. Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a reliable means of transportation and a deep rooted love of canines.

Working along with other team members, handlers are responsible for managing a group of off-leash dogs at play. We work primarily outdoors, observing dogs to ensure safe and active play. Handlers are trained to recognize appropriate dog-to-dog interaction and intervene when dog play becomes inappropriate. Handlers are also responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks to keep the facility sanitized and in working order.

Candidates for the dog handler position must:

- Always treat dogs with patience, kindness and respect.

- Have reliable transportation to and from work.

- Be able to work weekends and holidays.

- Be willing to work in all types of weather.

- Be in good health (no allergies) and able to stand for a minimum 4 hour shift.

- Have a cell phone and active email address.

- Be able to communicate in English orally and in writing.

- Experience preferred, but not required

- Able to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for 4-6 hours

Salary: Starting at $15/hour, potential to earn up for $18/hour.
