Our Philosophy: In 2005, we opened the area’s first cage free daycare & boarding facility. Our mission was to create a unique and enriching experience for the family dog. Unlike traditional approaches to dog care, The Dog Nanny provides a home style environment where dogs adjust and thrive because it is “almost home”. Our approach to grooming encompasses the same philosophy of unique care and an improved experience for your dog. Our groomers are patient, kind and flexible in the handling of dogs. We will take the time necessary to make the grooming experience as stress-free as possible.
Not every dog will enjoy the grooming experience, but it’s an important part of your dogs health and well being. Our experienced and talented staff get to know each dog and will be available to communicate with you directly. They also keep detailed notes to ensure your dog receives the same quality care and grooming they deserve each time they visit.
Our newly renovated salon is designed with top of the line equipment to keep your dog comfortable and safe. Our new specialty tub is equipped with a ramp and a door to accommodate our larger and older dogs. Both of our new grooming tables have the ability to be lowered very close to the floor to make it easier for dogs to be placed on and off the table safely.
We believe in one on one – quality, not quantity grooming! “Grooming is an ART, not an assembly line!” Our grooming is done by appointment and is offered 7 days a week! Your dog does not have to “wait their turn” at The Dog Nanny Grooming Salon.
Pricing: The cost of grooming is breed specific. Prices will vary depending on the dogs coat, size, condition, behavior and the services that are performed. Please contact us for an estimate.
What’s included: Bath Includes: Shampoo, blow dry, 15 minute brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, ear plucking (if applicable) and complimentary bow or bandana. Grooming
Includes: Shampoo, blow dry, 15 minute brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, ear plucking (if applicable), sanitary trim, feet trim, full body cut with clippers and/or hand scissoring and complimentary bow or bandana. There are added fees for additional brushing, de-matting and shaving time
A La Cart & Add On Services: Anal glands, Brush Out, De-Skunk Treatment, Nail Trim, Nail Filing, Shed-Less Treatment, Teeth Brushing
Products: We use the highest quality products and have oatmeal and sensitive shampoo available upon request.
Cancellations: We groom by appointment. Please be prompt when dropping off your dog. Late arrivals may be turned away, due to time constraints, which may result in a $25 cancellation fee. If the groomer feels that there is enough time, your dog may need to remain at the salon for a longer period of time. Due to limited space, we can not keep you pet for extended periods of time. Please be prompt when picking up your dog or daycare charges may apply Missed appointments are subject to a $25 missed appointment fee Appointments cancelled without 24 hour notice, are subject to a $25 cancellation fee
Vaccinations: To protect all of the dogs at The Dog Nanny, copies of your dogs up-to-date Rabies & Distemper vaccination are REQUIRED. Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccination is highly recommended.
